Going through boxes of old toys which is a chore that I've been putting off for some time now. I finally cornered my sons and got through a few yesterday. I did find all of Mr. Potato Head pieces so of course I opted to keep him. I wasn't counting on him trying to make a call. He is old school and knew exactly how to dial but hadn't yet realized that the phone isn't connected any longer. I guess I will have to introduce him to cell phones 🤪
well that's a good effort finding all his pieces! feels like lots of household chores have been gone through in lockdown - probably a good thing for many of us ;)
This made me smile -- thank you! We all need some silliness in our lives right now. I still have my daughter's Mr Potato Head but I'm keeping it because whenever there are families with children visiting, it's a perfect to to pull out. But photography . . . hmm . . . now you make me think, maybe we could have a Mr PotatoHead Day on 365! He could visit around the world! After all, we're sharing recipes and baking each other's recipes already . . .
@jyokota How about a silly day 'challenge' in general perhaps. I had put him on the shelf, just a tad higher than my eye level. My husband noticing him, added the phone in his hand. I was creative challenged yesterday so my better half came to my rescue.
@haskar Thank you kindly for the fav. My sons have not yet commented or perhaps they are just not sure how crazy their parents really are?
@pistache Old toys bring back memories, more for me than them I think :-)
@dustyloup Yup, he sharing stories about the dark times in our attic- very thankful for the fav.
@santina Thank you, smile sharing is vital, especially these days.
@jernst1779 Totally agree with you. I like that he has a built in storage place- a genius design. Thank you so very kindly for the fav.
