In the process of re-exploring the area. I drove by the church where I was married over 32 years ago. I was startled at first that there had been damage but the new Minister's wife told me what I was seeing was the that the final stages of re-siding the church. I was so relieved. I added a small insert of when we were standing on the front steps back in 1989.
@eudora@onewing@okvalle@marlboromaam Thank you so much. This little church is quite aways out of town so glad that it is loved still. The rope that lets one still ring the bell is still there and works I believe.
So neat you re-visited the Church "were it all started". I got married that year too, and we still like each other after all this time! Congrats on 32 years of sticking it out!
How special- you gave me an idea that the next time I'm in the area of the church where we were married I should bring a long our wedding pic and see if I can't match them up. It's a nice collage and a lovely memory.
