I think that this is a Christmas Rose ( Helleborus Niger). It did suffer from lack of water this year as the house was vacant 6+ months and the gardeners only took care of the big things, lawn and leaf removal. I will be giving it some tender love this year. We don't have gardeners any longer so all is up to us.
I don't know many plants, but do know a hellebore, and this isn't one Joy. What ever it is, it's beautifully delicate and this is a lovely photo of it!
It doesn’t look like our hellebore. I don’t recognize the little red berries either. Maybe when it’s more uncovered. But the snow cover with the pops of red makes a beautiful photo.
