While I was at Finlay yesterday, I spotted what I think is a Grey Wolf or a Coyote. You have to look really close and of course I didn't have a long focal lens and this is highly cropped. He/she is more than likely a coyote but either way, what a gift to see.
Nice to spot this. It does look coyote like. We have a number in our area though never noticed them in my own yard but they have become a bit of a problem one suburb over, where they have attacked a couple of people. Always hard to achieve balance between the needs of wildlife and a forever expanding city.
Nice shot! I like seeing coyotes in nature, but they have become a problem in my area because we allowed their habitat to be destroyed for houses and shopping centers.
