I have been watching the squirrels 'work on' getting the feeder open this morning. I naively thought that I had the upper hand in this battle, HA! He/she did get the lid off but then proceeded to get it into a position which prevented much access and went back down to the ground to clean up the ground a bit.
I do wish that I could bend like that.....
Over night we get have freezing rain which has coated pretty much everything in about 1/2 inch of ice. I am much more worried about the rest of the country which is dealing with frigid temperatures and power outages. We are currently at 31(f) with no wind to speak of.
@marlboromaam Thank you a great deal. This little one and his/her friends are taunting my Riley who is being kept inside for the most part. I am concerned that she will slip on the ice as she flies around the yard trying to herd the squirrels.
I'm seeing this on the 23rd. The wind is howling outside and the temp is hovering around 4 degrees. Brrrrrr! Gotta love that stretch- and the determination.
