Lesson for today is to be open to something different. I had walked down this alley with the express purpose of taking a shot of another mural when I saw these pieces of a old mural and liked it. This is a 2-fer, the nifty fifty sooc and the dogwood 52 week challenge. Our assignment was to 'learn sneaker zoom' Shoot an image using only the 50mm focal length. Ha! just perfect timing since I am really trying to only use 50mm this month.
@shesnapped Thank you so much, the alley seems to shed its skin, so to speak and this one gets very creative.
@megpicatilly The various pieces aren't really related, being by one particular artist- I like how to relate anyway. PMAE stands for "Pushing My Artist Envelope". I decided that I needed to make myself stayed focused so, I am going to shoot my 3rd year in B&W. I am liking things so far.
I love this, remembers me of the work by Mimmo Rotella, an Italian pop-artist, who specialized in "décollages" - i.e. artworks made by stripping various parts of mural ads layered on the walls over time.
(Took me a minute on that "sneaker zoom"! Haha)

@taffy Thank you kindly, alleys have so much potential for things to shoot.
@haskar Thank you very much.
