A final shot of my orchids, they gave up the ghost in late July after having bloomed in mid February.
For week 31 of the Dogwood challenge... wildcard - photographer's choice:
"capture an image on your terms; who, what, where, when, why, how … it's all up to you... caveat: you must tell us your intent..." My intent was to capture a reflection in black and white.
@lsquared Thank you so very much. The light table lets me put lights under. @joemuli So grateful for the fav. Truly appreciate it. @mawol Thank you so much. I had to get almost parallel with the table surface- need to play around more with this. @golftragic Thank you a great deal. The orchids lasted so long, I was amazed that there was even a second bloom this year.
@s4sayer Thank you, actually the little vase slipped out of my hand and rolled around on the surface and land there so, that's where It stayed and I thought I should just leave it be. I'd been dropping things all day and didn't want to push my luck.
@golftragic The little dried blooms were dark but loved the sharp angles.
@yaorenliu Thank you, somedays things work. I was about to give up too.
@thistle Thank you so very kindly for the fav. I had the idea in my mind but the pulling it off was almost more than I had patience for.
