Obviously Over-processed

I often comment on others' photos, asking how they achieved the effects they did. What lens did you use? How did you process it? What techniques? etc etc etc. This is my attempt at over-processing and wondering, what AM I trying to achieve ?????

Taken at the home of @taffy, the two of us with cameras glued to our faces and madly photographing the flames while our husbands commented on our addiction to 365.
I don't know what you had in mind, but I like the effect -- eerie looking, almost ghostly!

I agree with Taffy. A very eerie image.

Spooky! It reminds me of a pterodactyl for some reason.

@taffy @david68 @steampowered -- thanks for comments.

My "get pushed" challenge this week is "b&w and moody" so I'm working up to it. :)
@steampowered -- I had thought it looked like a jazz club singer with her chin in the air and head tilted back. But now, I see a pterodactyl, a completely different image!!!

@jyokota Ah! Now that you mention the jazz singer, I can see her perfectly. It's wonderful how people's imagination takes them down different routes.

reminds me of a woman screaming out loud-----"I HATE COOKING DINNER FOR MY LAZY FAT HUSBAND" !!!!!!---lol----just kidding 'tho===very artsy,as a matter of fact :)

@jodimuli --LOL -- clearly, then, that woman is not me. Especially funny in that my husband is the opposite of "lazy and fat" and he does all the cooking around our house -- a gourmet chef, he is! :)

@steampowered @jyokota just to put my 2 cents in, before reading the comments, I saw a ghostly pterodactyl too! Junko, you know me, I'm all about "playing" with the photo to create something it's not. I'd say "well done!"
