I had heard about this swan family and their adopted goose for a few months, but arriving at our "book castle" this past week, I saw them behaving as a family, as described. Riding my bike over a bridge yesterday, I stopped to photograph them when a woman told me to hurry -- they're all lined up!
Funny, isn't it, that at the book castle, we have our own version of an "Ugly Goosling" story!
