City Moon, Peeking Out by jyokota

City Moon, Peeking Out

Taken from Taffy's 33rd floor home.

Building's in focus. Sadly, not the moon. But this was as close as I got to a natural-looking moon, and I do like the way you can see part of it through the windows.. It was crazy -- we both took many photos in which our cameras captured a double moon, and in case, two side by side, and another with one on top of another with a line between them! Aliens, no doubt. And I got several that were moon-starbursts!

what fun!

In focus or not... still stunning

Very cool contrast, the far-away ancient and natural moon, accented by the modern man-made skyscrapers. Am I reading too much into it? I kind of like the fact that the buildings are in focus. Autofocus can be rather maddening sometimes, though, right?

I also really like the way you can see the moon through the building. And it is very interesting to see the differences between your lovely shot and Taffy's lovely shot. :)

Oh, I like! I'm going to suggest an alternate crop because that moon peaking out is so wonderful! Crop out all the other buildings on left, use the blue sky as your guideline and keep building on right. Makes an abstract! Just an idea. What a view you both had.
