So Chicago recorded the coldest New Year's ever. According to the news, "The National Weather Service says it was the coldest New Year’s Day on record in Chicago with a high of 1 degree (-17 Celsius). The bitter cold is continuing Tuesday, with wind chills forecast between - 35 F (-37 C) and - 20F (-39 C) in the Chicago area." But would that keep photographers inside? Nope. Especially when we had a driver (aka Bill) to take us to the lakeside and wait while Taffy and I took a round of photos for a couple of panoramas. 15 for this one.
PS It is so beautifully sharp in LR but uploading to 365 makes it softer . . .
Well captured and stitched. Isn't LR an amazing tool to be able to draw on!! I like the lighting quite a bit. Mine is very similar so I think I'll post something totally different -- if I post it eventually, I'll link back and let you know.
This looks amazing, I especially like how you got the light and the violet sky left and the blue part of it on the right. Also, I guess it's warmer than in Munich.
@jyokota@summerfield I'd been thinking about how amazing it would be to see them in person. Our company has a project in Buffalo that I used to be involved in. Wishing I still were to be able to have an excuse to visit!
