Desert Tower by k9photo

Desert Tower

This tower is near the east entrance to the south rim of Grand Canyon National Park. It is also known as the “Indian Watchtower.” The inspiration for the structure was the pre-historic stone towers built in the Four Corners region. (Along the Rim by Michael F. Anderson)
Beautiful composed shot, interesting right to think those Indian ran though there.

I love the watch tower. I got Jerry up at 4:00 AM and we went to the tower for the sunrise. Such a wonderful trip, photo opportunities at every turn.
