Lunar Eclipse 5.59am by kgolab

Lunar Eclipse 5.59am

Today I am thankful for..

1. The fact that I actually woke up at 5.30am with enough time to capture the lunar eclipse.

2. That the clouds in the sky managed to move quick enough that I was able to take some good photo's of the lunar eclipse at various points in time.

3. The rain that is now falling where we live. We desperately need it, so it is a pleasure to hear it falling on our roof top.
This is a fantastic series!

@jernst1779 Thank you. I nearly froze watching it and taking the photos, but I didn't wish to miss it as the next Lunar eclipse is not until 2021 they say :(

well done with these - I live on a north east hill, I was all ready and at 45 am the moon was getting so low on the western hill I realised it was going to be out of my view just before the eclipse would start ... yup missed it.
