Truly Bullet is trying his hardest to reach the leaves right on the edge of the image. This poor swamp mahogany is not being left with much leaf - and with the dry conditions it won't sprout much new growth for a while yet either.

Have you thought of taking shots of feet, paws etc. and printing notecards as another way to promote awareness and support for your valuable project?
@pattyblue not from that spot, he had to climb down and out to another vantage point :) what you can't tell is it was quite windy, so at times he was blowing deceptively towards his goal, then back away again. I think frustrating was his word for the day!
