@cocokinetic he is around 5 years old, but only came to the property less than 6 months ago. you can see he has a tag as he developed chlamydial conjunctivitis and I caught him and he was treated in the local koala hospital thankfully :)
@cocokinetic no, the tag stays in for life. it is law here, every koala that goes into care is tagged and microchipped before release. it allows us to collect a lot of valuable data on success rates of treating and releasing
