I just love golden orbs - 3 features to note.
1. she has 2 males in the web with her - can you see them both?
2. she is about as full of eggs as can be
3. lots of stored food, so the larder is full
And lastly - her web spans right across one of my quad bike tracks, so I've had to abandon taking that bit of path for weeks as I just can't disturb her, she is too awesome
I spotted them, they are so tiny ! Ive seen those spiders in Seychelles islands : they are so big !

Oh I love golden orb spiders too, she is a beauty. Looks like she has got everything she needs, a couple of suitors, babies on the way, plenty of food in the larder. Who could ask for more. fav.
I love them too. One of our neighbours has a huge web at the side of his garden with several big spiders. I've been itching to get some shots but it's been too windy.
