The SX60 is probably one of the best cameras to do moon shots with. I use an SX50. Do you shoot in Auto or do you set aperture and shutter speed manually?

@helstor I had it on auto - thank you for commenting, I'm going to experiment tomorrow evening if the clouds lift with some manual settings! thanks for asking as it's made me curious to see what I can do!

@koalagardens Yes, setting things manually is the way to go - and don't be surprised by the fast shutter speeds - the full moon is very bright ;-)
