Hercules by koalagardens

Hercules

These beetles can lift items up to 850 times their own body weight! Also called rhinoceros beetles, there are a lot of variations in the family and some really long horns. However they cannot bite, and are another common thing aussie children play with. They are quite large, this one is a few inches long. Thank you for the awesome comments and questions on my photos.
Oh wow, that is an awesome insect!
