Please all stay safe as we move into another weekend. School holidays starting here, many concerns about what the movements and congregating of people may cause.
Great edit - our daughter is well out of school now so I no longer need to think about the holidays....although I will be cursing at unattended children next week...
@graemestevens oh yes gosh my youngest turns 30 this year - it's more the movement of people holidaying just when viral levels are rising here in some places. I will barely poke my nose off the property thanks very much!
Oh this is so beautiful. You are so good at textures. I will be wary of going out during the school holidays. We went out for the day before holidays began when it was still very quiet. As we live in a holiday area it will be interesting to see what happens in the next couple of weeks
This is so lovely, it would make a beautiful note card! In America, we are wearing our masks everywhere, and washing our hands when we get home. No crowds.
Beautiful image. I too am finding some refuge from Covid related stress in spending some time each day in creative endeavours. It helps, but then there is always the need to return to the real world where many people are getting sick and many other people are either too stupid, or too selfish, to take the simplest precautions to protect themselves and others.
Beautiful capture of this gorgeous rose, fabulous presentation. We are still waiting for the peak which should be during the coming month, quite a scary thought.
@gardencat yes, without meaning to I've ended up taking on a lot of work, some paid some voluntary, in helping some complex organisations become, and register as, covid-safe. so I'm very aware of how things are both here and the world over. I need to play even more I think!

This is very pretty. Stay safe KG. I share your concerns. Lockdown restrictions are being eased here and I have no intention of going anywhere where there are people for quite some time yet.
soft and lovely. we are on phase 2 of our "re-opening". in general people practice the physical distancing rule or wear mask rule, but there are others who are just sooo inconsiderate and just won't adhere to it. makes me want to wish them ill-luck.
