Wet Rocks by kvphoto

Wet Rocks

We finally had a sunny day and was I glad to get outside for a walk in the woods! At the top of High Shoals Falls there was an interesting pool of water (middle, left) in an indention in the rock. The water was flowing out of this tiny pool and down the rocks.
Love the colors.

@thewatersphotos @koalagardens @haskar @jernst1779 @momamo @vignouse thanks for your kind words... not sure what type of rocks are at the top of the falls but here is an article about Georgia waterfalls: https://www.georgiaencyclopedia.org/articles/geography-environment/waterfalls and there is another one about Georgia and geology: http://www.gly.uga.edu/railsback/GAGeology.html#Highways

You have created a vibrant image thanks to the flow of light and colour across the rocks up to the falls.
