Two Colored Legs on a Snowy Egret? by kvphoto

Two Colored Legs on a Snowy Egret?

I think this is a snowy egret but they typically have black legs. This one has two colors on its legs... black in the front and yellow on the back. The feet are definitely yellow and the feathers look snowy.
Fabulous capture of a unique bird

whoaaaat???? It really looks like it has double legs.. :D so strange. Very neat shot! Lovely how those feathers fan out. And the yellow and black look so smart.

It probably woke up late, reached in the drawer and grabbed two different color stockings and headed out without realizing it.

Another great capture! As for the two-toned legs, I wonder if you should contact Merlin (The Cornell Lab) to let them know. This may be an original!
