I was up EARLY this morning trying to get sunrise shots. I found this feather yesterday and knew I'd shot it at some point. I've got a busy day ahead (off to get the hubby from the airport now) so I decided to do it right away. I wish I hadn't cut the top off but there's nothing I can do about that now. I found some random Aperture effect which I loved. So... here it is!!
Missing tip is okay for me too...sounds like a "super secret Indian name..." Little Feather Missing Tip :-). Just makes it look more candid to me...beautiful
@kwind Yes, Aperture is the only photo editing software I have (I haven't much used the freeware people have told me about, it's a slow process...) and I've liked it quite a bit. Even though it's less versatile than PS or the likes. But "natural"? Hmm, I can't seem to recollect that. Must see if I can find it. :)
@rockinrobyn No worries. It's an effect, not an app. I've only bought a couple. Most of the ones I have are free ones I found on line. I only use aperture and don't have photoshop.
@bardejov I don't think so. It was just the sky and clouds reflecting (I think). You wouldn't have believed this SOOC. It was totally overexposed and almost totally white.
Nice thing in counter light! Fine work, nice composition and, of course, simplicity together with creativity! Fav. Sorry for not coming to your pages very often.
Here I'll make it 50 comments :) Really nice capture. I like how the sun comes through the feather. I thought I was following you but something got messed up.....following now.
