Muscle Men

My men built a raft today. They started with beach logs, then screwed lumber. The hardest part was moving it to the water. This is their reaction after they could both stand on it and float!!

I'm not thrilled with the shot. I don't like the shadows on the faces but we're heading back to the property to camp so I'm out of here!!

I love this moment! Maybe you could "dodge" away some of the shadow just over the face, but I think this is a great capture as is. My husband and boys would be elated too!

It's a fun photo, a good family memory-cue. There are ways to lighten the shadows in post processing, depending on the program you use, but for a shot like this, does it really matter? It says it all just like it is.
