Sorry I've been kind of absent the last few days, there's a been a lot going on here! Today I drove 3 hours one way to Victoria to attend an info session on Crohn's and Colitis. I'm rather exhausted now but so happy I went. I'm going to make an appointment for my son to see the naturopath that did the presentation. I think there might be some natural remedies that could reduce his symptoms! I took this shot yesterday. I was trying to get my son caught up on his homework, but he really wasn't into it!
Bless your hearts. It sounds like you're both exhausted. I hope the new naturopath can help him. My father-in-law had Crohn's and it is a horrible disease. I feel for you both. This is a great capture. Just the one eye and eyebrow tell it all. Fav.
This photo tells the story of exhaustion... I'm glad to hear that there may be some help through this naturopath. I know all too well how it feels as a parent to want your child to feel better.
Checking out every bit of information, no matter how small, is a good use of your time. It sounds like you now can get another opinion and perhaps another type of treatment. Your son's exhaustion shows in this shot...I hope he feels better soon.
Nothing is harder on a mom than her child being sick. Crohn's is so difficult - know a young man here that I taught that was diagnosed with it - went through some rough years but is doing well now. Hope you're able to get some quicker relief for your boy - a wonderful shot that really sums up your day. Prayers for you both.
By the way, I’m taking the tea form- another good herb for cleaning/ cleansing is Golden Seal tea, DONT take them at same time, must be alternate- 2 weeks of Pau and two weeks of Golden seal.
I just googled Crohns disease. I'd heard the name but didn't know what it was. It sounds awful, I really hope he finds something to alleviate what he's going through (for both your sakes) xx
Poor Gage, it must take it out of him completely. So hard for a lad that should be full of energy. It will affect his schooling too, hope you get some real good results going down that route, you never know, people definitely think there is something in those type of remedies. A very telling photo!
I am sure you are both in pain...one physical and one emotional/mentally. Glad you are researching your options. Hope you and your son both feel better soon...take good care.
Did you ever look into fecal microbiota transplantation?
@joemuli Thanks for the link. I will check into it.
