When I travel I do a lot of research beforehand. I like to visit "off the beaten path" type places along with the standard tourist stops. My research lead us here... to Little Tilde. One of six Forgotten Giants in Copenhagen. He's made of recycled scrap wood and is BIG!
Well worth hunting for this tubby fellow , but as @777margo says he does look sad ! perhaps he doesn't like to be forgotten !! Interesting find - I do like these in situ creations ! fav

He's Fab! When we went to Oz and were in Melbourne we visited William Ricketts sanctuary. His garden has aboriginal people sculpted in the trees and you really have to look to spot some of them. He felt he was aboriginal in spirit and his works are amazing.
Fantastic. I looked at the others too - very interesting, and exactly the type of thing I'd want to check out. I'll bear it in mind for a future trip to Copenhagen. I've never been, but I plan on going! Nice image.
