My entire family left for work before 7am this morning so I celebrated Easter with a friend. We hiked 9km and did 91 flights of stairs (according to my phone) on the Ripple Rock Trail. I was last here at the end of August. Look how much my hair has grown. (I haven't cut it in over 13 months).
The water in the background is famous for being the site of the world's largest non-nuclear explosion. A giant rock was blasted out after many boats sunk and sailors died over the years. The rapids are crazy in here at certain tide times. Giant cruise ships travel through here (pre-Covid). Here's a link to my last trip there and sone info on the area: http://365project.org/kwind/365/2020-08-30
