I was small once as well.

I'm amazed how big tree's can grow and I could imagine the big one saying to it's neighbour, "I was small once as well". That was the story of my life when people used to call me half-pint because I was so little.

Another view of Stanley Park near to my home, a place quite high on the hillside where you can watch the sheep and the world go by, but not on a cold day like today.

Heather, this is a great shot. I'm struck by the pastoral foreground dotted with sheep against the urban background. Wonderful contrast on several levels.

Nice composition with the village as backdrop. All giant oaks started as little nuts. Why does that sound rude all of a sudden. LOL
