Another beautiful walk along the canalside where the towpath is very popular, particularly with the Parish Church alongside. There is a lovely circular walk starting through the churchyard and across the bridge where I'm stood.
After walking along the towpath for about 800 yards you go under a hump-back bridge before turning up onto that bridge, crossing back over the canal and strolling to the front of the church. Not a vehicle in site.
I must admit to taking this view before about a year and a half ago, but it was during a different season. The church is my family church with both my Sister and Brother married there, whilst I was confirmed and later became a bell ringer as well. Just enjoy the pic with a black background.
A truly beautiful scene, Heather. Perfectly composed, interesting sky and clouds, peaceful scene of the kind you dream about before you visit England. :-) Instant Fav from me.
@lynnilou@juliac@dizzyd@fjmom@linnypinny@fjmom@congaree Thank you all so very much for your wonderful comments and FAVS. This spot means so much to me and I have often thought of having my ashes put here, so if that sounds morbid.
