Thank you all for your previous comments & FAVs, I'm sorry I can't thank you all individually.
I feel like a new Mummy with this picture and it's all down to my favourite Niece Gail (Don't reminder her that she is my only Niece). I've always want my own bird feeding station and last Christmas she bought me. one of those metal trees and this cage and food block. I have added other feeders.
The problem is that I haven't got a back garden so this had to be place out the front, quite close to the road and pavement. Well since the new year I have moved it around the front garden trying to find a place the birds are happy with.
Bingo I have it and the birds are beginning to use it each day. Not only that, but I can now sit on my settee and watch them, sparrows, crows and pigeons. I have had to wire the cages on though, just to stop the naughty crows lifting the them off and dropping them on the ground.
This was my first photograph taken from my settee and through two glass panels of the porch door and a porch window. As I said at the start, I feel like a new Mum with a new baby. I think this lovely Blue Tit is also a proud parent as it keeps come back and forth collecting food.
@gijsje Thank you bep for your comment regarding the hat, I don't go anywhere without it for 2 reasons. !. My late Sister bought it for me, 2. I'm recognised all over the place by strangers who see my photographer and bloggs. Also through my Face Book old photographs page of our area we live in. (Everyone knows Lady-Magpie)
Great capture, well done..... Its really pleasing to do something like this for the first time isn't it. You have the same camera as me & I find it is great for taking birdie shots.
EXCELLENT capture of the sweet bird. Now that you found a place that the birds seem to be comfortable with you are going to have a wonderful time photographing them. fav
Wonderful capture and a fav for me. You know you will probably end up buying that food so very often! The birds just love it and now that they have found you, they will visit you forever!
Well done - what a lovely new venture. We started our bird feeding last autumn and it did take a while for them to come to feed. Wish those fat pigeons would disappear!
