Hunting for Fifty Shades of Grey. by ladymagpie

Hunting for Fifty Shades of Grey.

Just an update on my Supermarket comment and photograph yesterday. I put it on the Supermarkets Facebook page and received a message from their headquarters quite quickly. After supplying the Shop address they were contacting the Manager to ask what was going on.

I love visiting the small villages around the Cotswolds and to see what they have done to the village phonebox. I have seen one before like this, but isn't it wonderful how they are now trustworthy mini libraries. Bring a book along and take one in exchange.

That's two mini libraries now, and I haven't found a copy of "Fifty Shades of Grey" yet. Now I know that all of you have read it, but I haven't so give me a clue about the various colours in the story (Wink).

Well done Heather re the supermarket. They must think we are all clueless! I guess that book is rather grey - and boring!

Hehe when I first saw this I thought you had built a bookshelf in a small space. Then I read about it. At any rate love the capture! It is a fav for me. Now as to 50 shades I bought and read the first book. I didn't think it was that great. I did bye the second but neve had the interest to read it, so it sits unread on my kindle.

great composition and processing Heather and a Fav. I noticed in my local Sainsbury's today the same offer on ice creams that you mentioned yesterday so it must be widespread scamming!

A phone box library; it's an idea. So sad that a lot of 'normal' local public libraries have to close their doors. My library, where I work as a volunteer has to close within a few month.

Seems you really stirred things in the Supermarket world. In the Fifty Shades world things were supposedly well shaken and stirred - but if you like good literature I wouldn't recommend it

Nice shot..... I 've seen a couple of villages in Northamptonshire that do this with their phone boxes...... what a great idea.
Well done for contacting Sainsbury's ....... hope you get some vouchers for your action.

I can send you an unread copy if you want. But it isn't worth the postage. Glad you got some result from Sainsbury's.
