What a wet gloomy day it is, yet there are still lovely views to be found. This is up on the edge of the Cotswold Hills, not far from home and looking due South.
The M5 motorway winds it's way through the county taking people all the way from north of England to the seaside towns in Devon and Cornwall, perhaps not today without an umbrella on board. As a child there weren't motorways but the excitement of going off on holiday in a coach is still remembered fondly, Summer holidays at my Grans seaside home.

It's nice to remember those visits in childhood especially on a grey dismal day like today Heather. I thought I would go out for a walk as we had had a break in the rain but I only went a little way and down it came again! Nice view across the fields
Nice memories. I think I would have preferred the coach to the M5 highway. Amazing view and the processing makes it lol like the cover fro a laptop. Fav!
