Little Munches for a Big Horse. by ladymagpie

Little Munches for a Big Horse.

Thank you for getting my village view on the pp page yesterday, I was pleased with it but there was an interesting aftermath of my visit. As I said I had been geocaching and was clambering round inside an old stone bus shelter, well somehow I managed to injure my big toe and had difficulty driving home with the foot pedals. I had to limp round on just my heal for the rest of the day with everyone saying I had gout.

I spotted this big horse in a field surround by Cotswold dry stone walls. As I watched I noticed that the grass was very short and wondered how it was managing to get anything to eat. A bit like me trying to eat a few odd peas off a plate with no knife, fork or spoon.

View with the dark background if you have time.
That's strange as my daughter is also having trouble with her big toe to and her Dr. Mentioned gout but could be related too to her rheumatoid arthritis. I sincerely hope yours isn't gout as it can be very painful. Love the horsey.

First, very beautifully captured! Love the lighting and gorgeous green grass. Secondly, let's be careful out there so you won't have to limp about!

Lovely shot, he doesn't look under fed so I guess the grass was probably 2 ft tall when he started eating.
Hope your toe is better soon.

Horses always seem to find enough to eat and I'm sure their owners don't let them go without. Hope your toe is well soon and that it was an injury. You certainly don't want to have gout...a very painful affliction.
