This could have come under my titles of "A view around the Village" as it's just around the corner from my home. I have put on a lot of weight and my health is suffering because of this, so I've decided to make sure I go for a walk every day until I'm fit enough to get back to my Geocaching.
I stopped here as this is a lovely cottage (Rosebank) on the corner of this pretty lane that climbs up to the woods. I noticed the sunlight making patterns in the air and the ground which I wanted to capture.
Part way up this lane a geocaching friend has placed a cache called "Lady Magpie" as a dedication to me, I'm famous to anyone who finds it. View with the dark surround to see the sunlight better.
I was just checking out that you were following Jane who is a very keen geocaching enthusiast & you are! Walking is a great exercise, I am trying to do more but the weather is not helping when you would rather be inside by the fire with a book! You have lovely places to walk Heather, perhaps you could walk someone's dog?
Lovely capture, Walking is good I combine it with calorie counting... hubby and I in Winter walk around a shopping mall ( about 6 -8 miles in total) - lucky for us we are only 10 minutes drive from Bluewater. Millie has mentioned geocaching to me but haven't yet looked into it.
Very cool to have a geocache named after you. I keep thinking about going out... and then I find an excuse. And, yes, the weight does pile on the more I sit.
Beautiful old stone cottage in the sunlight. I hope you enjoy your walks, even if its difficult in this weather. If you can't find a dog, and they're the best companions, ask a friend to accompany you.
On my next long walk, I'll look for the cache (NE 4740.3 mi from your home location)
