The lovely weather yesterday and I headed for some beautiful gardens, adjoining what had been a grand mansion. This mansion had changed into many other faces throughout the years, but the grounds with beautiful trees and wildlife has remained the same, if not improved.
I spotted this tree and thought how nicely shaped it was, so out came the camera and I took a couple of pictures, then I found I had a problem when I downloaded it to the PC. Trying to be a true professional I had the tree capture standing proud, then noticed that the mansion was leaning over.
Obviously the mansion wasn't falling over so I had to correct the building and then noticed how much the tree leaned over. Was this caused by the wind direction or was caused by heavy squirrels living on that side of the tree nearest the building.
Thank you all for your comments and FAV's for my Daffi-Hills photograph yesterday.
There is an illusion here somewhere, but I can see it. All the branches of leaners here then to correct to vertical, which your tree isn't. (maybe another cough of cuppy would help this morning, caused by changing tire on the trailer)
It seems to happen with a wide angle shot! You have to decide which is the subject and have it standing up straight - the others will lean, to be sure!
This is a beautifully shaped tree even if it is leaning and the building behind looks as if must have been rather grand in it's day. Altogether a nice capture.
