I'm going to put Lady Magpies grumpy hat on after a visit to the supermarket yesterday. When I arrived the car park was swarming with police vehicles parked all Willy Nilly at the shop entrance, it turns out that several women where caught shoplifting and where turning nasty and causing problems.
That's nothing to do with my picture, except it's in the same car park. When I got back to my car to put the shopping in, I met my very friendly trolley lad who loves a chat and quick cuddle (Your be calling me a trolley Dolly next). I spotted this car parked behind me and said to the lad, "Who on earth parked their car like that?"
The purpose of the disable parking place is to allow more space around the car, not to park diagonally in it. The lad informed me that there is this old gentleman that come in who can't drive or park. "This is normal for him, but you should see the dents and scrapes on his car and anyone near him, if he can't find a space he dumps it almost in the shop doorway."
Therefore be warned everyone around our valleys, if you see this car around, steer clear. I was kind enough to blur the number plate so it can't be used to clone another car, often used to steal petrol. My nice lad kindly put my shopping in the car and took the trolley away for me.
That's a good picture of a lovely glossy car, unlike the parking that is so dull. As you say, beware! P.S. Thanks for finding my car, I wondered where I left it.
Well, at least he got one tire in lines! This is a fav for me because of the laugh I got. Not just from the capture, but I laughed out loud at the narrative especially when you said willy nilly! I thought I was the only one you used that!
Hey grumpy pants - he is still within the designated area, and it's a little car :) What I'm amazed with is the fact you have a "trolly boy" that helps you and returns your trolly - that should make you smile :)
Great story! I imagine every community has a driver such as this. I know one that if I meet her on the road I immediately hug the edge as she is always straddling the middle line.
Great capture
