Cotswold Cottages in a Country Lane

Firstly can I say sorry for my picture of that beautiful flower yesterday, I could tell those who read the story and those that just looked at the picture and then made a comment, it made me smile.

I'm starting to get out and about again and stopped off at this little country lane where I knew there were a few old cottages. It looks like several have been modernised and had extensions added.

The views from this lane are extensive across the valley, lovely but there is one major problem, where do you park your car or tractor. In fact I see they have to leave them back at the opening to this lane.

Thank you for all your comments and FAV's, I'm glad you enjoy my stories even if some of them are a bit mad.
Lovely shot...it looks like the houses just sprung up through the ground.

Narrow lanes are t very practical I know as ours is as narrow as this & it can be awkward but this looks very pretty!

How lovely! I wouldn't enjoy parking at the end of the lane, though. Fav for me!

Just love the textures here - but as you say, these lanes weren't made for parking!

love the stone work on these houses.
well, I suppose if too many tractors drove past these beautiful houses, they would collapse - the vibration might be just too much.
Anyway, walking is good for the soul
