My fourth picture in my nature challenge and this comes from my late Sisters garden. On the left of the path is a fir tree that she planted when they first moved into their home, not long after the were married in the 60's. It was just inches tall then but today stands well over 30 to 40 foot high.
On the right are various bushes and shrubs that have grown over the path and joined onto the fir tree, making a lovely archway to the rest of the garden. I do see that nearest is a Japanese Acer and the other shrubs are now in full blossom. Just to the left is the garden pond with a fountain and of naturally gold fish in it.
This was my Sisters last view as she passed away peacefully overlooking this scene from her bed set up in the conservatory, she always loved the peace and quiet of nature with the birds and visiting animals.
Thank you for all your comments and FAV's yesterday. Unfortunately my team lost 3-1 at Wembley so we all start again in August will that challenge of promotion.
What a view, could think of worse things as my last view. Sorry about your team. Himself is a Newcastle fan and all is far from well! To me it's just a game )sorry she says ducking) 😌
i love how it all swirls up to make a natural archway. What a lovely scene to be the last one to see. She would no doubt would have loved to have seen it now in this form.
Shame the boys did not get the points better luck for next time
Sorry your team lost.
