I just had to give you another view of the valleys I live in and this is just a smaller one going down to the main valleys and the large town of Stroud. I could spend hours just watching the countryside and the wildlife, there is nothing more wonderful and fulfilling in life.
If only the trees could talk and tell of the activities that have happened in the fields over hundreds of years. Looking around the small villages you come across buildings that had been used for something else before. Behind where I stood was a private cottage with the remains of paint advertising on the front wall. It must have been a pub at one time and looking at the name my guess was proved, "Ludlow Green Inn Cottage". I was able to come home and look up the history of this drinking house. View with the dark surround if you have time.
Thank you for keep up with my nutty pictures, my Niece was so pleased, snigger!!
Lovely rolling countryside Heather, sounds like you're very content where you live! It's good to see this as it brings home to you how we take for granted the place we call home & not always see the beauty, you remind us to look again!
