Walking the Old Canal

What a beautiful day today, if a little to hot, but the canal was looking lovely and everything so green. If I want some peace and quiet then this old canal is the place to walk and enjoy the wildlife.

I can't get over this sudden change in the weather and it's meant to get even hotter over the next few days but thunderstorms mid week will bring a stop to it. If it does get to hot I've threatened my neighbours with me in my bikini so I think they're either booking holidays away or put blackout on the windows.

Quite a verdant part of the canal & is that a lock gate I see? Canals can be quite open with just fields on either side so it's good to see this one looking so pretty. I would give the bikini a miss Heather perhaps!! I'm not keen on wearing any swimsuit!
