Sorry all you wonderful friends, I've decided that it's time for me to say Au Revoir to 365. I have been on here for 3 1/2 years and haven't missed a day putting on a photograph and reviewing all your lovely pictures. Unfortunately I'm spending up to 2 hours every day going through your pictures, which works out a total 108 solid days working at 24 hours a day, it can't go on as I have so much to get on with.
I have been disappointed at others response lately, I review well over 100 followers each day and receive on average 15 to 20 comments from some very good friends. Now this might seem that I'm moaning, but there are other reasons I must finish, it's been stopping me from getting out in the afternoons (I must get started on 365 by 3.30 pm) has been my conscience. The other reason is that football season is starting again in a weeks time and I'm so busy with that as well.
I sure you will all understand, but If you still want to keep in touch of me and see my photograph and madness, then look me up on Facebook, give me a shout on:
Sorry you are leaving 365 - have enjoyed your humour as well as your shots. I do understand 365 is very time consuming, I struggle sometimes to do as much commenting as I would like, as I still work a several days a week. Hope you pop back occassionally - good luck with the football season hope your team does well. Bye for now - Great Selfie by the way.
Oh no Heather! I really enjoy reading your lovely comments and followed your history of your country. So sorry to see you go. Hope you do come back and visit after the football season
We all have the 365 debate going on in our heads, it does take a lot of time to view, comment, and fav our follower's with sadly little response. I am glad to have met you and will continue our relationship on FB!
I am so sorry to see you go. You have always been so kind and helpful with my silly little photos and I have learned such a lot viewing yours. Sorry if I haven't always commented. I am in the same position that I just can't afford to spend as much time as I would passionately love viewing and commenting on all. I also feel in two minds about staying because of that reason. I feel I am letting folk down. Good luck with your new ventures. Keep taking those gorgeous photos.
I shall miss all the laughs you have given me over the years but I quite understand and I myself have not been commenting on so many photos due to all the time it takes and the fact that I have a husband who likes me to talk to him sometimes! Good luck and I will follow you on FB Btw Fav
You will be missed Heather. Your loyal & kind support has been much appreciated & I've enjoyed your funny stories & interesting finds & photos. I've especially enjoyed learning the local history of your village & surrounding area.
I too am finding it difficult to keep up to date with posting & commenting at the moment & do apologise if I haven't commented on your photos.
Enjoy the football & I hope you can still get out & about with your other hobbies.
Great selfie shot too...... one last Fav. x
I'll miss your humour, your stories, your self mockery and a lot more. I can understand what you're saying about commenting and responses.
A fav for your beautiful selfie and thanks for being such a good friend on 365.
I agree with everything the others have said :) Great humour, super information, nice pix. But commenting does take time. I'll look for you on Facebook. Good luck to FGR this season!
bye bye for now, i have moderated my time on here recently and also fell behind because of family matters, hols and stuff . i have nearly caught up with my postings but still moderating my time
I feel your pain I bcame occasional poster and still like to look
Will miss your banter and send you a FB request
Keep well Heather Fav purely to keep the contacts you gave
Well what can I say from here in Australia! Everyone above has said it all. We all know that life gets in the way of 365, but everyone is so kind, informative and lots of fun when able to get on here :) Cheer hard for your football team, and find time to smell the roses too.
Well, I know you know what I'm going to say - this is very sad news, and I'm glad I didn't read it at the office. Having said that (I'm whining, aren't I?) I do understand the time that goes into this project, and I have also limited my time this year. I do take consolation in the fact that I will see you on Facebook. PLEASE keep in touch! I miss you already :(
So sorry to hear you are leaving Heather, but quite understand the reasons why. I post every day but the photos aren't necessarily taken on that day and I do try and limit my time to 365 as much as I can. It can take over your life if you let it. I hope you will still drop in from time to time.
I don't check out facebook, another time consuming pastime I think. Although David does have a FB account, neither of us access it very often. Take care and good luck in the future.
Oh, Heather, I'm so sorry to see you leave. Although I haven't been following you for very long I'll miss your cheeriness and funny stories. Thank you so much for your support of my project. I wish you all the very best for the future and for a successful footie season.
Your sense of humor and devotion to 365 will be missed! I always appreciated how faithfully you commented on my pictures, and I tried to do the same! Thank you! Definitely try to come back some day!
Thank you all for your kind comments, it might be very difficult to leave so I promise to pop in now and then. The funny thing is with only 6 FAV's my picture made the PP page, how does that work.
If it wasn't for you I would never have known about 365, so you have inspired me, and supported me with your constant comments of encouragement for which I thank you most sincerely. I now look at subjects very differently and that dear Heather is all down to you. Happily we are able to continue to share commentaries in other ways.
@jaffacakes Julie, thank you so much for those lovely comments and I really appreciate them. I loved your captures because we live in the same area and it was nice to see if I could guess where you were. I have noticed how much your photograph improved over quite a short period, well done. Hopefully our paths may cross somewhere but before that we have Facebook.
Heather, I've missed you and now found the reason why. I've never reviewed as many followers as you have, just not possible, would be boggle-eyed! I wish you all the best and I'm now going to find you on Facebook.
Funny I have had to chase you up tonight as I saw your photo on FB but hadn't seen your picture come up on 365. I thought I had accidentally deleted you, it has been known! I scrolled down my friends & you were still there but I must have missed this shot on one of my nights out. Sorry to see you decide up to finish but I understand completely your reasons. I have the same problem sometimes & I think you have to just learn to back off a bit. These days I dont worry so much if I can't comment as we all need time off. I do it for family far away so if I only post for them it's all that mattered. I love the friendships I have formed on here more than the photo side & I always miss those that retire. I wil still be in contact on FB so that's excellent. It can only be good when you have a full life with lots to do Heather!! Love this last photo, a great selfie to bow out! You have been an excellent commenter I must say always with some funny little pun!
@happypat Thank you Pat, I love to make people laugh and smile ever since I did stand up comedy with after dinning speaking. I spend my life seeing the funny side of life and that puts a smile in my life.
I fully understand about the time it can take to get a photograph out there every day.
But hope you can return to my world and a 365 from time to time because without Lady Magpie there it will be a very dull place.
