Watch all these Olympics on the TV I've realised how fit they all must be, not like me at all. So do you think I should take steps to pump iron.
Spotted these very old petrol pumps yesterday as I was travelling through a small village after my dental appointment. Even with a tooth removed and a complete numb mouth and nose, I couldn't resist stopping and capturing them.
They were set quite high and way back from the road surface as you can see by the amount of steps, therefore they had iron pipes that swung over the pavement with the rubber hoses attached, hoses have gone. I wouldn't think they have been in use since the 50's and 60's.
Awesome find and capture. A must fav for me! As I was scrolling down, I saw the top of the photo and thought it looked like your photography. I was pleasantly surprised to see it was yours! Hope you're feeling better with the dental work!
Questions, questions questions: The dials on the pumps are in gallons or liters? I've searched but only found US pumps with dials in gallons, no cost meters.
