I came across this beautiful building with interesting details whilst out geocaching the other day. I was in a very interesting Cotswold village and at first I thought it was the rectory as it was very close to the church entrance.
It wasn't until I got home and did some research on the internet that I found out it was the old village school, that's the building on the right behind the tree, with the schoolmasters house connected on the left. The whole building was built in 1850 and I bet it looked wonderful with the school children running around the lawns.
Best viewed with the dark surround if you have time.
What is it used for today?
