Going Round a Bend for a Grave Experience

Many may say that I've always been round the bend, but in this case I was looking for a geocache at a nearby village. I love the shape of this church with it's expanding graveyard high above the valleys, built in 1841.

It has splendid views from the churchyard and footpath behind the graveyard. The building itself was designed by Thomas Foster of Bristol and is made from Ashlar Limestone and tiled roof. There are some very ornate gravestones going back to earlier dates than the building, suggesting that a previous religious building was on this site.

If I keep going round the bend I might find some even more lovely buildings. View with the dark surround if you have time.
A very stylish church and I really like your pov and composition.

The 'dead centre' of this little village! How nice to have the time to wander around and read the gravestones! More to geocaching than thought!

@maggiemae The clues to the actual place of the geocache were dates on graves.

Better to be round the bend than over the hill.
