It's another lovely view today as we take a look from the spring on the hill. You should be able the make out the River Severn, the longest river in the British Isles.
It been raining today but it makes the countryside look so lush and green. On the other side of the river you can see the Forest of Dean and then of to the left will be Monmouthshire and Wales just out of view.
Now for my silly moment today. Half way down on the left of the picture you can see the lower village where those strange people live. Unfortunately I had to go down there today to post a parcel and as I walked up to the counter a young lady was counting lots of money. I said to her "Can I have the spare ones".
She gave me a strange look and said no, I then realised I probable looked like a robber with my hat on, a face mask due to Covid-19 and a heavy coat, she couldn't see my face at all, just my eye's. Ops I thought, this lady doesn't know me and that I'm always mucking about, time for home.
Gorgeous view. Love the story, thank God she didn't have you arrested thinking you were a robber. Some people just don't have a sense of humour do they. It was probably a local shop for local people.
Just don’t go into the bakery in your outfit and ask for dough.
