It was a beautiful day today, apart from a 70 km/h wind from the south. It was 22C in the afternoon and I saw people walking in shorts and T-shirts. The tower is from the 13th Century. It is on a summit at 800m and was a signal tower to warn the Kings of Majorca in their summer palace at Collioure of attack. I was trying to include the snow-covered Canigou mountain in the background, but I would have needed to bring a stepladder with me. Time to get a drone!
