Today was show day (tomorrow is too - don't ask why it is held mid week!! Stupidest thing ever!), so I spent a bit of time wandering down sideshow alley, through the produce, art & photography exhibits in the pavilion, witnessed young kids showing & handling their steers, checked out the dogs parading in the dog show & also watched a few demonstrations. I chose the clowns for today's shot as they are typical of any show/fair.....plus I liked their fun vibrant colours :)
I always find these guys a little (ok a lot) unnerving. I'm not a clown fan and I hate the circus, too. Still, if I look at my screen through partially opened fingers I can see that it is a . . . . no, I can't look :/
I always think clowns look rather creepy, but the vibrant colours here make these ones look quite friendly.
I reckon I would be great at throwing balls into their mouths because we have a one eyed kookaburra here at the moment and I feed him with raw mince. Only having one eye he can't gauge where the meat is so I have to aim straight into his open mouth. I am getting to be a pretty good shot.
