Air travel featured large in my working life. Monthly team meetings in Aberdeen and Inverness would involve day-trips leaving Shetland at 7.30 and back around 12 hours later provided weather didn't intervene. The Inverness trips would involve a landing at Kirkwall in both directions. I don't miss these trips.
