@cheekylulu It's because we are so far North, as far North as the southern tip of Alaska but more importantly no part is more than 3 miles from the sea so any wind from the North and East particularly makes it fee cold and there has been plenty wind from that direction this year. My son spent a year in Vancouver and while the winters were colder than here the summers were much warmer.
