Hoswick Bay

My only walk of the day took me into Hoswick as it is always the most sheltered part of the village. This part of the bay was fairly calm as the wind was blowing left to right from the north.

I remember passing Hoswick since it reminded me of a village in the Faroe Islands called Hósvík. The name is evolved from Tórsvík (Thors bay). I love the history of names and how they evolve.
