As soon as I was out with the seed this morning the birds were down in a flash. Between the feeders and the ground I must have had over 200 starlings and numerous House Sparrows, Blackbirds and Collard Doves. The seen is soon devoured and the bulk of the birds away to check for food elsewhere.
I had to laugh - this is a super photo. However, over here that would be a disastrous image as all of the birds (except maybe the doves) would be considered as invasive pests! So, it is nice to see them in their native habitat and being enjoyed instead.
